The optimization of gasistor via adjustment of the cross section of the Pt/TiO2/Pt capacitor-like structure is possible only when the two parts - memristor and gas sensor are fine-tuned separately. To improve memristor, optical lithography is required to achieve structures with small enough cross section. On the other hand, gas sensor can be scaled up to improve the baseline resistance at will, If nanoporous top electrodes are used. Funding was used to procure lithographic masks for optical lithography, as well as presentation of the research in international conference
